Logic Pro Latency Compensation issues with dual mono

Hello,

When running dual-mono plugin instances introducing latency on audio tracks, the latency is not compensated as it should in some conditions.

For instance, if I try to freeze an audio on that track just after opening my session, the latency is compensated with a wrong duration.

It seems like the behavior depends on the architecture here:

  • On my M1 Mini, you'll have to open the plugin view so that the declared latency is correct
  • On my MBP Intel, you'll have to freeze the audio a second time so that the latency is compensated as it should (so, freeze a first time, cancel, freeze a second time)

Some users have reported that issue with our plugins, after a few tests we have been able to reproduce the scenario with several plugins from several manufacturers.

Could you explain if I'm missing something that may explain why the latency is not compensated as it should ?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

Clément
