Ghost alarm

My iPhone SE recently died for no reason whatsoever (thanks Apple!), and had to be restored (which of course means everything was lost - again, thanks Apple!). Following the restoration, I synced the phone with my Mac, which I hadn't connected with in a few years, to reload music and photos. However, I also seem to have brought back several old alarms from the Clock app which keep going off every day (according to the original recurrence schedule). Problem is, these alarms don't appear in my current Clock app, so I can't delete them. I checked iCloud, and there doesn't even seem to be a category for alarms, so I don't think that's the source.

I reviewed other support threads, and the only cure any of them could suggest involved restoring the phone; however, I already did that, and it was exactly this restoration which appears to be the cause of the problem! And no, there are no other apps which could be causing this.

Any ideas?

Much appreciated!!

The alarms are probably not coming from the Clock app at all. I suggest you go to Settings>Notifications and look at every single app and turn off the sound on any that you don't recognize as being important. There have been numerous reports of unexpected apps setting off alarms. There is no easy way to isolate which one it is other than to disable sound notifications.

Good idea, but shouldn’t apple be on top of what happens on its tech?

There should be no invisible alarms! This literally makes me lose sleep- bad for health, etc.

Apple doesn't know what apps you put on your phone. Apple has only limited control over third-party apps.

Come on. Apple, find a solution. Don’t just make your customers figure it out.
