Rosetta Issue

I have a refurbished 2013 Macbook Pro and I'm not sure that it has Rosetta automatically installed like it should. It wont even allow me to open apps "using rosetta". What should I do?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Rosetta does not run on Intel Macs.

A 2013 Mac has an intel processor, and runs intel Apps directly, without any emulation whatsoever.

Rosetta emulation allows you to run Intel-processor apps under emulation on an Apple-silicon processor. You don't have an Apple-silicon processor.
