Why do I keep getting "iCloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server" in my windows 10 XPS when I go to icloud.com. I have never had this problem on this computer using chrome until this week.

I can access my icloud.com account on my Dell Laptop, my iphone and my ipad but not on my XPS. I have always been able to access from my XPS until just this week. My account is in good standing with Apple, I have restarted my computer, all updates are installed, and all apps are up to date. When I look at the System Status Page, all systems are green. Can anyone please help me?

Do you have the Intel Killer application your laptop / PC? Some of us have found that this is linked to the issue.

You can untick IpV6, that works as a workaround but I'm not sure it should stay unticked. Alternatively if you have the Killer Intelligence Centre (if you have it) and turn off the Prioritisation Engine in its Settings. This works.

In my case, an update to the Killer app in August has triggered this problem.

Thank you so much, I have talked to Apple and windows support and no one could help me I have been dealing with this problem for months, and your suggestion; "Alternatively if you have the Killer Intelligence Centre (if you have it) and turn off the Prioritisation Engine in its Settings. This works". fixed my problem!!!
