I face a big problem with the app( Find my) it’s not working well so I lost my left AirPod with the case but I have the right one , so the app it shows all the AirPods left and right and the case together at the same place, but I have my right one and still it’s not showing that I have it . So now I am losing the left one with the case because of the app is not working well.
Is that AirPod still in the case with the lid closed? If so, it will not be detected via the Find My app. That AirPod would also still have to be charged. Lastly, the AirPod will rely on Bluetooth to transmit its location to a nearby iPhone that is also participating in the Apple's "Find My Network" (the default setting on an iPhone) to then rely that information over the Internet to the Apple servers ... so that you could see it with the Find My app.

You try to remember where you had it last. You go there and look. Then, you retrace your steps, looking as you go. Also, ask at any lost and founds, reception desks, etc.
