Apple TV Apps. Some have no sound.

Apple TV 4K to Samsung tv. To Samsung sound bar.

works fine for some apps like Netflix and appletv+. Other apps like paramount, Disney, 7+, kayo all have no sound. Only recently started.

on 16.6 and there’s been no updates recently.

audio works if I disconnect sound bar. So seems to be linked to certain apps and surround sound setting?

tried forcing stereo or 5.1 in settings and neither works.

Hi All

Have managed to fix this up with a super strange fix.

Force audio to 5.1.

Restart Apple TV

Works for some more apps but not all

Set audio back to auto

Restart Apple TV

Works for remainder of apps.
