Preview redaction no longer working

Last week, I was able to use the preview redaction tool just fine. This week, I am running into issues with it.

I am trying to redact some information on a transcript and there is an overlay text that reads "unofficial" across the document, though last week I was able to redact information on the same document with no problem. I updated my computer and now when I try to redact information, it only redacts the "unofficial" text overlay and not anything else on the document.

Since I was able to redact on the same document last week without a problem, I am unsure what the problem is or what the solution could be.
