I am missing several movies...over a dozen. I can see them in purchase history but not in my library. They are not in my user "media folder. Out of over 50 movies, only about 4 are in the folder they should. How can get these movies I paid for back?

If they are in your purchase history, you should be able to re-download them.
How do I do that? When I go to the store, Apple wants me to repurchase them. I did this morning thinking somewhere along the line it would say you have purchased this. Id has not. So I am out another $15 for a movie I paid for.
