how can I unlink previous owners Apple ID to my ipad

my old iPad is link to my ex and I don't have a way to get the apple ID

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16

Hello ~ If you have the original receipt that includes your iPads serial number take it in to Apple and see if they will help you.
