Apple TV not working on the fire stick

Starting today I've had issues with the video not found error after playing a show for a short while, sometimes less than a minute.

I have reset the app, cleared the cache, deleted all data, and reinstalled.

The fire TV app is up to date and has been restarted multiple times .

My internet connection is just fine, and we have thoroughly troubleshooted the connections and everything is as should be .

On my other devices it runs just fine without error. It just started on the fire stick today.

Anyone have any ideas or is there a way to take an apple employee who can actually look at the app and see if there's an error with streaming on Apple server side?

I have the same issue. I have 2 firesticks and I have attempted to update the app, firestick, checked the internet connection from the apple tv app and onboard internet browser. I have Netflix, Disney and Prime Video which work on both devices.

I have also factory reset one to clean up and maximize space but the same thing keeps happening.

Therefore its the Apple TV app as the app on my PlayStation works fine on the same wireless network and on the same TV.

Yep getting the same issue, worked fine from a web browser but video cuts off within about 30 seconds when watching via the Fire Stick. Also tried the typical troubleshooting steps described by OP.

Not a great experience to have during the first week of my trial

To clarify the error is is video not available, there is a problem loading this video. If this continues, check with your internet connection.

Which I did. I also used apples program diagnostics which says everything is fine and there is no issues. But obviously there is.

Several users have reported issues with playback on Fire TV. See if a new firmware/system software is available for your device. That seems to have solved it for the users that have reacted in other treads here.

I have the same issue. After 30 seconds video stops. Check internet connection. Can’t reach a live Apple TV rep. Grrrr

Yep tried it last night and it seemed to be working again. So it looks like either the Apple TV app or the Firestick itself got an update - no issues at all last night.
