16 cards limit in Apple Pay
Why there is a limit of 16 cards on Apple Pay ? I have more cards and I would like to add them . Thank you!

No one here knows why. It does count Apple Cash and Apple Pay Later, but 16 is a hard limit for credit cards and debit cards. It could be a chip limitation etc. but those that know are under NDA or don’t know.
If it’s any consolation, the hard limit was 8 and iOS 16 upped the limit to 16. Who knows, maybe next year it’ll be 32.
