iCloud mail settings

I know how everyone says it’s impossible to ‘hack’ iPhones and that’s likely true but I feel like someone has found a weak point/vulnerability to exploit on my 14 promax. Now I’m not saying that’s definitely the case but it sure seems like it. I’ll start with saying, no, my phone never leaves my sight nor have I ever shared my Apple ID password or passcode or any info regarding my phone with ANYONE. I will also say it’s totally a possibility that all the odd occurrences I’m dealing with are somehow my own doing, I just don’t understand how.

first my iCloud mail. My mailbox folders are constantly changing, disappearing, or being greyed out so I can’t access them. It happens often and regular mail that I supposed to be receiving either doesn’t ever come or shows up in a junk or random folder I never created. Then the folders I do make either disappear or become greyed out making them inaccessible to both mover from the server to my phone or if they are visible when I got to ‘edit’ ‘add folder, or whatever in the mail app and try to check mark them, they immediately uncheck themselves. I’ve used apples email check thing and it’s says both a mac and iOS iPhone have access. Maybe I’m misunderstanding or misinterpreting the info but I do not own any other device or computer that I’ve ever used to login. There’s about a 100 other weird and frustrating things I could list but I figured I’d test the waters with this bc it happens super commonly and negatively affects my work/personal life tremendously…any help/iinfo or explanation would be beyond appreciated, thanks in advance zzpleszd and g

Troubleshooting Compromised eMail Account:

You can only have one iCloud eMail account. So, create an alias, as an alternative. Go Here: Add and Manage eMail Aliases for iCloud Mail on iCloud.com - Apple Support

Troubleshooting a Hacked Account:

I. Getting In to your Apple Account:

You need to get into your Apple Account. So, contact Apple Support. If you have a hacked iCloud account, then ask the Apple Rep if they can help you add Two-Factor Authentication. Ask them to assist you with changing your password to what it should be. Important: Perform a trial-&-error login session, prior to ending the call.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

II. Secure your Info:

If concerned for device access, then (A)verify your devices, and (B)secure your account. Open a new eMail addressee d use that for your Apple ID.

1. Verify your Devices:

Verify that all devices are logged in to your account, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support

then...

2. Modify your Credentials:

Having been stollen, someone lily has your credentials. So, by all means, modifying them.

III. Report Items to Apple:

So, report phone call's and messages info to Apple and modify. Use my User: Using the Photos App to Report Scams - User Tip

Thanks for the quick reply but unfortunately I have gone thru all those steps, multiple times. I have two physical security keys I use as my 2 factor authentication, I’ve changed my password and passcode at minimum once a week for months, I’ve factory reset my phone, I’ve even and reluctantly abandoned my first iCloud/apple Id and made a new one, I’ve contacted support to which I got generic scripted advice such as, “try changing your password” or “ don’t give anyone your phone or personal password” lol…I’m not a novice when it comes to phones and protecting my information but I am a novice with iPhones. This is my first one and I got it for the ‘famed impenetrable security’ but I’m at a loss… I’m at a point where I’m contemplating getting an old-school flip phone and just writing letters through the mail 😆 😆 😆
