iMessages is not syncing between the Mac, ipad and iPhone.
As heading. Settings properly set. Phone reset. No joy. Could it be that my iPad mini runs on 12.5.7 and later updates are not supported whilst my iphone runs on 15.7.8

The Messages app on an iPhone handles iMessages, SMS messages, and MMS messages. Macs and iPads don't have cellular text message service. So if you're trying to send and receive SMS and MMS messages on your Mac and iPad, they need a little help from your iPhone:

There's no syncing of any messages? Whether iMessages or SMS/MMS messages?
Do both the iPhone and the iPad have a connection to the Internet? iMessages travel over the Internet, so if either device's Internet connection is down, attempts to send messages may time out.
Am I talking to a real person or a bot? Messages used to sync but recent have not.
Both devices are connected to net and with mobile data enabled too. They are sitting next to one another on my desk!!!
The iOS version is not the issue here.
All devices must be on the same Apple ID.
Toggle iMessage off and then On on your iPhone.
They are both signed in to the same Apple ID.
Both devices (for clarity ipad and iphone) are signed in to same apple ID. Both devices are already enabled but have been reset and yet no sync between them.
Help
No, you're not talking to a bot.
You're not talking to paid support staff either – just another user, like yourself.
Thanks. I have been using IT in its various forms since 1964 but this is defeating me.
Thanks for trying to help. Maybe someone from Apple support might respond sometime. Who knows?
