Bluetooth not supported? Anyone had this issue?

I bought a second hand 2019 MacBook Pro, I’m finding it very difficult to get anywhere with it, I’m not exactly computer literate! I’m having a issue with Bluetooth not supported, can thi be overcome?

The iPhone or the iPad will not connect via Bluetooth to your Mac. While there are many activities that require Bluetooth to be turned on the devices, pairing in the traditional sense is not required.
