Bluetooth greyed out and won't work after Monterey 12.7.6 Update

I have a MacBook Air 13 inch that is refurbished. Currently my bluetooth is greyed out and won't work after Monterey 12.7.6 Update. I cannot toggle it on at all and use bluetooth. I have tried several steps that were provided by previous people on the community, but have had no luck.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.7

As you don't mention what you have already tried: From iCulture.nl :

Option 1: Remove the Bluetooth property list

You can remove the temporary Bluetooth files from macOS. These are automatically reset when you restart, so you don't get into trouble. By deleting the files you may solve your Bluetooth problem:

Open Finder.

Click the Command + Shift + G key combination.

Enter this address: /Library/Preferences/

Find the file 'com.apple.Bluetooth.plist' and delete it.

Restart your Mac.

Go to  > System Settings > Bluetooth and pair the Bluetooth device again.

Option 2: Reset the Bluetooth module

If nothing works at all, you can also reset the Bluetooth module in your Mac. Do you have macOS Monterey or newer installed? Then you use a simple Terminal command. Open the Terminal app and enter the following command:

Sudo pkill bluetoothd

Restart your Mac after running this command.

Do you have macOS Big Sur or older installed and can't continue updating? Then follow these steps to reset the Bluetooth module:

Make sure the Bluetooth icon is present in the menu bar. If this is not present, you can enable it via  > System Preferences > Bluetooth.

While holding down the Option + Shift buttons, click on the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar.

Click Reset Bluetooth Module.
