Apple TV HDMI to spdif converter

How can I concert Apple TV hdmi signals convert to spdif output?

I been trying to using some hdmi converter…but it doesn’t work.

what I’m going to do?

You could use an HDMI Audio Extractor box, if S/PDIF is important to you, and if your TV can’t do audio passthrough via its own S/PDIF.

Apple TV →[HDMI]→ HDMI Audio Extractor →[HDMI]→ TV

↘︎[S/PDIF]→ audio system
