Why Ventura 13.5.2 (22G91) do not support pendrives and some printers like Canon G2100?
Ventura 13.5.2 (22G91) do not opens pendrives and my printer is not supported either. What do you suggest to solve those problems?

Thanks guys! Finally I discovered the problem. The USB HUB was handling too many connectors, so I unplugged all unnecessary cables and the printer and the USB Memory were found!
Thanks to all for your help!!

Run Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility then insert the pen drive. If Disk Utility can see the drive and Finder can't then the drive is either unformatted or has a format the Mac can't read.
Disk Utility can erase and format the pen drive. Select it (on the LHS) and hit Erase (top right). Then select the format you want. Note that this will erase the pen drive. Make sure you've selected it in the panel on the LHS, and not the Mac's disc.
Thanks Jan, I already solved the problem (too many cables in the USB Hub)!
Again, I have no idea what you mean by a pendrive. I guess with drive in the name, it is some form of storage device. How is it formatted?
Did you ever install any software to allow you to write to NTFS? That breaks at just about every update and upgrade, so you have to wait for the developer to fix it. Similarly, anything that password protects it would need to maintain compatibility with the OS.
I also cannot find a G2100 on Canon's website.

Yes, they do, unless you have installed NTFS software that when broken disable mounting the drive.
Try starting up in Safe Mode and see if it is recognized.
Hi,
Canon PIXMA G2100 drivers can be found here:
Unfortunately, only up to macOS 11 Big Sur appears to be supported. You could perhaps try the macOS 11 drivers with macOS 13 Ventura, but that would be experimental.
If this does not work, also as an experiment, it may be worth checking whether Mac drivers for another model in the series, such as the G2000, possibly could be used.

It is often a good idea to reset the printing system between tests.

As always, make sure that you have backup copies of all important files
before testing anything. Software conflicts cannot be ruled out.
Are you plugging the pen drive in directly or via a cable and adapter. If it's via cable make sure it's a data cable, not a power cable.

Thank you for the information.
Have you tried printing a nozzle check pattern (a test page) directly from the printer (by holding down the Stop button until the Alarm lamp flashes once and then releasing immediately) in order to check whether the printer as such is working? See the user's guide for details.
You may also want to try connecting the printer to another computer (such as a Windows PC with appropriate drivers). That way you can check whether the USB connection is OK.
Ok with the printer, I will wait for the new driver, but is very unusual that pendrives are not supported. I tried with my MacBook Pro (Catalina 10.15.7) and the pendrive works well, but my M1 Mac mini Ventura 13.5.2 do not opens it
Yes, it is data cable. The hardware is the same I used before I updated the OS to the last version, and the USB memory is also the one I have been using since some months. Anyway I tried a new USB memory just to see if the unit have a problem but it is Ok, because I read it in my other notebook. May be Apple forgot to include USB memory drivers in the new version?
Hi, Thanks for the suggestions, I tried everything, even to download and install the last version available from canon, but still when I try to add the printer there is no option available (like it were no printer plugged). I'm trying to contact support from Canon, still waiting...
Not sure what a pendrive is, but printer manufacturers are responsible for making their printers work with the OS.
pendrive is a USB external memory normally used to share files. Normally when they are empty they are recognized by the OS and they can be formatted to the format of your preference.
I think Canon will be releasing the update in the near future
