Email Time Delays
Why are emails received regularly (very quickly after sent) on my desktop pc, but delayed up to almost 1 hour on my iPad pro and iPhone?

Presumably you are using either an IMAP or POP3 mailbox. Your iPad settings will determine the frequency that mail is retrieved from your Mail Provider's mail server...:
Settings > Mail > Accounts > Fetch New Data > [Fetch] select as required

"Push" is not used (or supported) by IMAP/POP3 mail services.
Push-mail, that is immediately delivered to a mail client, is used by Microsoft Exchange and some other Enterprise mail servers.
Thanks for the info. I followed your instructions, went to fetch, and switched to automatically (it was on every 15 minutes). Still not sure though why it’s delayed up to an hour. Should “push” be turned on as well? (I’m the original author, I wrote the original post from my PC, but when I log in on my phone, it created another account).
Thanks
