There are a few possible reasons why your data might stop working at your boyfriend's house, even though you can still make calls.

One possibility is that his address is in a spot with a poor cell signal. This could be due to a number of factors, such as the terrain, the distance to the nearest cell tower, and the presence of tall buildings or other obstructions.

Another possibility is that there is a problem with your phone's settings. For example, your data roaming may be turned off, or your phone may be set to prefer a different network than the one that has the best signal at your boyfriend's house.

Finally, it is also possible that there is a problem with your carrier's network. For example, there may be a network outage in the area, or your carrier may be having trouble with data service on that particular network.

Here are some things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Check your phone's settings to make sure that data roaming is turned on and that your phone is set to prefer the network with the best signal.
  2. Try restarting your phone. This can sometimes fix minor software glitches.
  3. Try switching to a different network. If you are on a prepaid plan, you may be able to do this by manually entering the APN settings for your carrier. If you are on a postpaid plan, you may need to contact your carrier to ask them to switch you to a different network.
  4. Try moving to a different location in your boyfriend's house. If you are in a basement or other area with poor signal, moving to a different location may improve your data reception.
  5. Contact your carrier to report the problem. If you have tried all of the above and you are still having problems, your carrier may be able to help you troubleshoot the issue.
