It is an iPhone SE .os 16.6.1. My bank has said they have not blocked my debit card so there should not be a problem. How can I add the debit card and use Apple Pay?

It could be the region you’re in. It does not appear that Trinidad & Tobago support Apple Pay. Apple Pay requires support from local banks and also the banking regulations for your country have to permit how Apple Pay works.

Did you bank also tell you they do not support Apple Pay and neither does Trinidad &Tobago? Please confirm you country supports Apple Pay and you local bank supports also supports Apple Pay.
