Condensation in the Airpods Max

I absolutely love these headphones for their sound, noise cancellation, comfortability, ease of use, etc. But...

after extended use, removing the cushions will reveal condensation on the inside of the cups. You can wipe them down, not wear them for a couple of days to dry out, but the problem will persist. There will be crackling sounds. There will be shrilling high pitched noises before it cuts off sound completely. There will be disconnection issues with one side. The pairing button will stop working. You can unpair and repair them until they stop appearing. I'm sure because the electrical parts inside have been exposed to prolonged water build up, they just stop working. All from wearing them like they were intended to be used.

I'm not working out or running in them; In fact, they are not worn outside. They aren't stored near a pool, sink or water source. There may be fluctuations in ambient room temperature with windows open or AC running, but they are not being worn in a freezer or a sauna.

What am I supposed to do with this? I can keep returning them to Apple to have them repaired, but the conditions will not change, and eventually they will stop working again. $600 headphones now just sit in their case not being used.
