No sound, no signal to display till reconnect the cable - Mac mini M2

When I turn on my Mac mini M2, my Dell U3219Q monitor reports no signal. If I pull out and reinsert the USB-C cable, the display appears and everything works correctly, including waking up from sleep. However, if I turn off the Mac, the problem returns. Similarly, this happens with the 3.5mm jack to which I have speakers connected. Here, even putting the Mac to sleep causes the sound to come from the Mac mini, and if I want to hear it from the speakers, I have to pull out the jack and reinsert it. The sound then plays from the speakers just fine. Where is the error? Thanks
