Photo organization help?

So, I got my first iphone 2 days ago so please be easy if I am totally off base or my wording is clunky. I know that on many devices I've used photos taken by the camera and images downloaded are often accessibly from the same app, but there is often a way to just see photos taken with the camera and not have the images from say the facebook group "the good place shirt posting" show up with the rest of my pics. I don't mind that the library shows all available but is there anyway to have these things sort by default? Pics I have taken vs. pictures I've downloaded? I really don't want to have to immediately delete any meme's I save to show someone on discord or other platform that isn't directly connected to facebook. I am growing to love this phone a lot more than I thought I would or could, but the way photos and pictures are handled is driving me bonkers!

Thanks,

Sami

Hey Sami_Mausi,

All of your downloaded photos will appear in the Photo Library. You can also create a specific album to hold all social media photos and grant permission for each app to save it there: Organize and find your photos on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Control access to information in apps on iPhone - Apple Support -- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos. Find Facebook in the list and grant the app access to "Selected Photos and select the album you'd like them to show up in.

That photo you've downloaded will also appear in the Library as a whole. So, when you want to access any photos you've placed in the album you select, tap "Albums at the bottom of the screen.

Feel free to get back to us with any questions or problems you may have.

All the best.

To view more, choose "Table of Contents" and the topic you would like more information about. We hope this helps.

Take care!
