When my child asks for an app, it comes up on my device, when I accept it appears on my device and not my child’s. When I look at my child’s device, it says dad instead of him and I appear as my first name in the members section

Restart your iPad - Apple Support
A restart can sometimes address odd behaviors.
Should that still persist, do other members of the your Family Sharing group see the same behavior on their devices?
Are you and your child still able to sign into your separate Apple ID accounts via the Apple ID website without any difficulties? Manage your Apple ID

Hello! I am experiencing this same problem with my childs account. It shows on the childs Ipad under my wifes name. I am not even able to add a contact detail shortcut for my wifes apple id account on the childs ipad.
on any other device the profiles are correct.
we are using family share for apple one family plan.
devices have been resetted.
i am able to sign in into wifes and childs account separately. No problem.
The childs account is for a three year old.
Also, I am not able to share the apple one plan to childs account. More speaifivally the apple+ capabilities and 200gt storage. Arcade, tv and music are shared.
We've been having this issue intermittently for years now and I don't really understand why no one is able to troubleshoot it. At the moment, my photo is showing on my daughter's account, even though I never added it there and I can't change it out.

Still having the same problem. Yes I can login to both accounts fine via the website and all the information is correct. The problem seems to be on my sons iPad and now we can’t download any apps and it’s become very frustrating.
Hi, that is exactly the issue I have. The apple representative I spoke to at the weekend believes it will resolve on next update.
Update ti IpadOS 17.0.1 did not fix this issue. Same problem still exists
