Apple TV not working on Amazon Fire stick

I cleared the cache in the app for Apple TV. Go to fire stick settings / applications / Apple TV and chose option to clear cache. If that doesn’t work may want to check the max storage and uninstall some app you don’t need.

this kept happening to me as all and it was quite frustrating. I checked for updates on the application, the firestick software, etc, and nothing was working. I restarted all of my apps, checked for video playback. I also went ahead and logged out of my apple ID and then logged in again and that seemed to work??? You could try that! Good luck!

Updated firestick on 9/17/2023 at 9:30 pm PST and it fixed the problem. AppleTV+ app now works.

Same issue, super frustrating. I just restarted My Fire TV, now all the shows are steaming fine like before.

I finally got it to work. I just kept updating the fire stick, several times , uninstalled and re-installed apple app and then restarted.

I was having the same problem. Tried everything including deleting the app. Finally I tried clearing my play history and it fixed it.

I called Amazon tech-support. They were able to do a screen share with my fire stick by giving them the last four digits of the serial number. We simply uninstalled the Apple TV app, reinstalled it and logged back in that cleared it all up.

Same here. Updated fire stick, restarted fire stick, uninstalled and reinstalled Apple TV app and it finally worked.

the only way I can get Apple TV to work is by restarting the fire stick

that lasts for a day then I have to do it again

Updates have been loaded into the Amazon Firestick. Do the update manually if it hasn’t updated already. It has cleared the bug. All the best everyone.

Same here, only now I have to Add Hulu to the list of apps not working via Prime. Both app works fine thru Google, so it must be a Prime/Amazon issue. For now I use Google to watch all streaming content.Too many complaints, Amazon has to address this, probably need an app revision

Absolutely! It’s 2 days now & your app is still not working on Firestick! I am using the 4K version. Amazon says it’s working on it but I’m thinking we are getting the olde Disney/Spectrum treatment! So sad!
