Apple states all the 15s can tolerate submersion in water to 18 meters for up to 30 minutes. While that technically is not waterproof (due to time limit) it certainly qualifies as highly water resistant. While I certainly wouldn’t use it as dive camera, I also wouldn’t worry about fumbling it in a swimming pool as long as you retrieve it promptly. Apple does state that scratches and dents can obviously impact its water resistance.
Correction above 6 meters ( or approx 18 feet) - NOT 18 meters
It doesn't matter how many meters. It's from Lab Controlled testing. An iPhone can be destroyed in half an inch of water.
Update, phone is still perfectly fine 6 months later. No issues at all.

No. I’m certain you have already read that several times within this thread, but it apparently does need repeating. No.
I just lost my iPhone, and “find my phone” was blocked for two hours. Then it came online. It was pulled out of the hot tub, being at the bottom for over two hours! Still powered on. I’m now quite impressed.

I’ve literally taken my iphone15 into my pool many time. Taken it down full on water slides. Thrown it in my pocket and chilled in lazy rivers. I’ve had no problems with it.
OK. Do as you please. It's your phone. we've advised everyone here that NO iPhone ever made is waterproof. If you choose to take your phone in situations it was NEVER designed to be in, that's your choice. But don't come here complaining if it becomes water damaged and Apple won't cover it and you have to buy a new iPhone. That will be on you totally.

Can I use my 15 pro in the pool under water to take a video
NO, not unless you're prepared to purchase a new iPhone if you do take it underwater to take a video. iPhone is NOT waterproof as has already been explained in this thread. If you damage your phone due to liquid damage, you're on your own and a liquid damaged phone cannot be repaired and will require a full replacement.
There are however waterproof bags you can buy from places like Amazon. Personally, I wouldn't even trust one of them, but people have been known to use them.

some iphone 15 pro are not waterprof i just did prove and my iphone 15 plus is waterprof was succefuly fine, but the iphone 15 pro was little bit glich and it was kind of stack the sound was also quite bad.
If you got the phone wet and now it's not working properly, and the sound is distorted, you have proved the phone is NOT waterproof.
Hello~ You will need a new iPhone most likely. Take it in and have Apple check it but be prepared to pay…

Is iPhone 15 plus and 15 pro water proof ?
As already mentioned above several times.......No
No iPhone is waterproof, and any damage that might be caused by moisture is not covered by the regular AppleCare warranty.
You will have to replace the phone.
You didn't prove anything of the kind. You were just lucky you didn't destroy your 15 Plus.
iPhones ARE NOT WATERPROOF!!!.
Do not sumberge or swim with an iPhone intentionally.

No, it is not.

That is very lucky. Would not expect all immersion events to result in a functional device.
