App auto prompting to install

8x8work app is randomly prompting me to double click to install. I did not request it from the App Store and as far as I can notice, it randomly requests me to double click to install, typically 2 to 3 times per day.

I have never heard of the app before. I have checked the developer to see if I can recognize any affiliation it may have with other apps I am using but I’ve had no luck.

I have noticed (but not confirmed) that it will prompt me to install usually when I open another app.

I don’t know how to stop this prompt. I am using an iPhone 12 work phone running the latest software. I’ve reached out to my companies administrator and they could not help either.

Find the URL for an app in the App Store to report a concern - Apple Support


You may want to reach out to the App Store Support team:
