Watch application night/day

On the iPhone the application to control the watch has a night/ black background. Is it possible to have a daytime display?

iPhone 12 mini, iOS 16

The Watch app remains with the black background even when the system is set to Light mode. This is normal because that is how the Watch app is designed to perform.
