My music library is on a cloud drive. The library file is also on that drive.
However each time the location of the library file is changed to the cloud drive, the location is reset once the computer is switched off.
I have used the web to try to find solutions but either Im asking the wrong question, or the answer is not out there.

Ah, now it makes sense, I think we have a corrupt .plist
Quit iTunes or Music, move this file to the Desktop in case we want to put it back...
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist
~ tilde indicates your user library folder
Apple hid the Users' Library folders...
Method 1:
Unless you can edit the plist itself... look for the 1st line...

By cloud drive do you mean iCloud Drive?
