Poor audio/video playback after installing Monterey 12.6.9 - how to correct?

After installing Monterey 12.6.9 streaming video playback has crackling slow audio playback with slow video playback. Any ideas on a resolution?

Slow Mo Not Working Properly I updated to Tahoe and the new version 11.2. I use slow mo (machine learning) a lot in my work environment. Once the clips were rendered in the timeline, it worked wonderfully and the playback through the viewer was smooth. Now the playback is terrible, it stutters. Poor sound quality and missing firmware information on Studio Display I am experiencing poor sound quality from my Studio Display i.e. it appears that possibly only one (1) speaker is working ! When trying to determine what Firmware version is installed via System Preferences, the following is stated under Graphics/Displays: Studio Display: Retina LCD Resolution: 5120x2880 Retina Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes There is no listing for the Displays S/N or Firmware version in the statistics ? I have recently updated to OS Sequoia 15.2 hoping to rectify the fault, however this Software update has NOT resolved the sound issue ! I am trying to determine whether this is a Firmware issue or an Onboard System Chip fault that is causing the very poor quality sound output ? The Studio Display is paired with an M1 / 2020 Mac Mini. 2024 Mac mini repeatedly buffers while streaming video 2024 Mac mini repeated buffering while streaming video however no problem using old laptop(same source and same WiFi).Sources Hoopla and Kanopy (library perk) You Tube no issues.

Adjust Audio Midi Setup utility in Applications -> Utilities to use 44.1 kHz/16 bit and no higher unless you have mini-toslink connectors to your audio jack or are using more than two speakers simultaneously.
