Apple Earbuds Connecting as Beats

So I just bought a pair of Apple headphones off of Amazon, but whenever i plug in the cord to my IPhone XE, it connects as bluetooth to Beats headphones I don’t own, and won’t play if my bluetooth is off. My IPhone is up to date and I’ve already restarted it. I’m thinking it was sold by a third party I didn’t notice so now it’s been tampered with? I’ve never had this happen before, and my Airpods are already connected to my phone and wouldn’t show up as the Beats. In my settings, I now have a new bluetooth option for “lightning” for the new headphones. The headphones are just normal earbuds that plug into the charging port for newer IPhones.
