Simply press and hold the current watch face - from there you can edit the current face, swipe right to change to a different face in your face gallery, swipe left to add a new watch face. Apple did not remove this watch function - just gave it more functionality!
“Better than ever”? I think not. For those of us who use multiple faces with multiple complications, it’s less user friendly. Dare I say, less intuitive! This is a step backwards. Its not Apples style. Frustrating. It’s like changing everything we knew and loved and forcing us to use something all together different that is by far worse than before, and, will not be more intuitive with repeated use. Will only always cause further frustrations.
WatchOS 10 change to face swipe is like changing a house where you are used to pushing a door to move from one room to another into a house where you have to unlock each door to move from one room to another.
Thanks. Annoying change. I sent feedback to Apple.
Apple has, over the years, removed many features I loved on many devices. Do you remember the Contact wheel (or whatever it was called) on the original Watch? I loved that... All gone.
I started on OS9 so I have only just started missing things!
BTW, I replied before reading Rudegar's reply, which included a link with the same info. Sorry about that.

How do you get information from more than one or two apps at a time?
Complications. Apps. Siri.
The Watch is a lot more than just the face. At least for me.
😂
What is needed is an option in settings. Lock the faces to avoid accidental swiping or free the faces as before.
I learned that I am not the only one to HATE the change. Luddites unite!
I downloaded the update a couple days ago and just discovered that too!! Makes me mad! I have different faces set up for different activities. FIX IT APPLE!!!!!
You still CAN change them.
I wouldn't bet on that. This has caused quite an uproar and I strongly suspect Apple will add a switch to enable swipe or lock the face.
Nah. After three months living with the beta, I sent mine back to Apple to get reverted to OS 9. Very well may be the last Apple Watch I ever own.

What's your basis for dismissing this as nothing but, "... a few thousand me-too's"? How did you arrive at that figure?
You quantity “quite an uproar” first
