Simply press and hold the current watch face - from there you can edit the current face, swipe right to change to a different face in your face gallery, swipe left to add a new watch face. Apple did not remove this watch function - just gave it more functionality!
Considerable negative responses.
Why over-complicate a simple procedure? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

87 me too’s will not change anything. What did it take to fix battery-gate on the iphone 6 and has everyone got their 25 pieces of silver yet?
Silly me - of COURSE the only people in the entire world that hate this are the 87 people here.

That’s quite alright, don’t feel bad.
I have exactly the same use case
And I frustrating too

That’s an upgrade on “me too”

But it sounds so much cooler!
It's also rather foolish to assume that I was suggesting a simple reversion instead of an OPTION to switch between the two modes.
That’s not to mention the battery draining problem. IOS10 is a big FAIL!
Yeah that’s super bad
I can’t get to use lots of functions without face switching
pls bring it back

You can still switch faces.
I also dislike it. Greatly slows down use of the watch. Wish I had never upgraded the OS.

Tell Apple:
Not really. More frustrating
