Now tv app login error

I cannot log in to the now tv app on any iOS device, even those using different apple IDs. I get the message “unexpected error: an error has occurred. Please try again”

I have been through all the troubleshooting with now tv who are blaming my devices as I can log in via my tv and web browser. My devices were purchased in the UK, have not been modified and do not use a VPN.

Has anyone else has this issue and how did they resolve it?
