just updated to iOS 17 and now I can't add Task to my google calendar

can only add events, task not working

Unable to edit/delete calendar event iPad Air 5th generation I created an event for the week on my iPad. It appears both on my iPad and iPhone. When I try to edit or delete the event on my iPad, the edit and delete options appear, but when I choose either button, the edit or delete screen appears, then immediately disappears, rendering them both useless. If I go to my iPhone, I am able to delete and edit the same event. My iPhone is running iOS 18.3, iPad 18.2.x. Thinking it was an iOS issue, I updated my iPad to 18.3 and the issue remains. iPhone can both edit and delete, iPad has same problem with edit/delete screens disappearing before I’m able to make changes. This only happens for the new event. All other existing events can be edited or deleted. Ideas?

Calendar searches are coming up with “no results” I’m on a new phone 16 with iOS 18.0.1 and I’m noticing sometimes Calendar searches are coming up with “no results” when I can clearly see the word I’m searching for in Calendar event titles. However earlier in the week at first I had the same problem and then it cleared up and was working fine. (I’m not sure if I rebooted or what I did.) [Re-Titled by Moderator]

IMHO it is Apple's responsibility to make apps backward compatible when updating iOS. Nothing should break.

I'm glad to hear that. Yes, all your Google data is stored on Google's servers so deleting apps is pretty painless.

Nothing happens when you press the Task button, there’s no visual or any other feedback and the task dialog does not open.

I’m having the same problem for a few months now. :/
