After latest update IOS 17, iphone 13 mini wont get anymore sound notifications. Calls are normal.

Go to settings, go to notifications, go to Messages. Now make sure you have one of these selected. Mine was grey and didn’t have one selected. When I chose Notification Center my sound came back! 😎✌🏼
Spoke too soon. I said earlier this morning in post after Gmail was updated to latest version and after turning phone and watch off and on I had been receiving Gmail notifications for two days. Well, I jinxed myself. Stopped working again around 10:30am. This is absolutely unbelievable!

Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you can hear your iPhone ringing while wearing your Apple Watch. What you've noticed is normal behavior. When your iPhone ringer is turned on, you will hear it ring even if you're wearing your Apple Watch. To silence your iPhone, you will need to turn the ringer off.
silencing the phone is an easy fix. How do you get the ring on both???

Another problem my blood glucose monitor doesn’t pay with my iPhone 15 pro Max I have to say I wish I had never upgraded to iOS 17. Or bought a new iPhone

I am experiencing no sounds on text notifications in messages. I have reset, checked the notifications for assurance they are on. No sounds when receiving text even with ear pieces in.
