After latest update IOS 17, iphone 13 mini wont get anymore sound notifications. Calls are normal.

Go to settings, go to notifications, go to Messages. Now make sure you have one of these selected. Mine was grey and didn’t have one selected. When I chose Notification Center my sound came back! 😎✌🏼
It seems like you can no longer not have a banner option selected. I hope this gets fixed because I don’t want any banners to show or pop up. I just want to hear a sound go off.
I have all three options selected and no sound, even when banner is one of them.

I’m experiencing the same issue with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I updated the phone yesterday to 17 and then 17.1 and now I am not getting text notification sound alerts.
