Facetime Speaker Microphone not working

i accidentally dropped the top of my phone into some pudding. after a bit of cleaning the phone up, i tried speaking on facetime (using speaker) and the person i was calling couldn’t hear me, however when i use regular phone audio instead of speaker i can be heard again. I’ve restarted my phone and wiped and residual pudding off the surface of the phone, as well as used one of the water out of speaker audios and nothing seems to be working. all my speakers are loud and clear and i can use things like voice messages just fine, it’s just my speaker microphone that isn’t working
