Hi
i have just updated to ios17 and since then, my Apple Mail app has been silent when I receive Mail. It still makes the swoosh sound when I send from the app. All Notifications are on. Volume is up. At the moment this appears to be the only app I’m having an issue with. Any ideas on a solution would be gratefully received

Thank you Adamw77 .. followed you suggestions and has fixed the problem I was having in not getting sound for new messages.
I have tried many different settings and nothing works. No email sound alerts or badges work. How do I fix this?

I’m having the same issue guys! They reset my phone and sent me to a store too. So frustrating- it’s been months!
Are you going to do something about notification sounds on the latest iOS update?
annoyingly I am not receiving sounds when the app is open or on Lock Screen
No mail sounds since iOS update last night. I cannot hear my phone ringing and no sounds when I sent or get messages and email. I don't understand 'haptics' properly.

I'm running iOS17.6 - this doesn't work. In fact, nothing does.
well after the lateest update to 17.6.1 the mail notification has stopped working why cant they sort this issue out once and for all !!!
