Ipad os 17 pdf editor is horrible. I have hundreds of pdf files, and for some reasons for all of them it created an additional layer with absolutely the same markups. But the worst thing is that I cannot even erase the markups which were previously done. When using an eraser tool, they just become faded.
How I am supposed to work with hundreds of my work files now?? It worked normally in iPad is 16.

Is it though? My early testing is that it is better (can erase old markups) but not totally (still crashes with loss of current markups).
Does anyone know why more copies of files appear with the word 'Open'? It's like as if it saves drafts, but I don't want it to. Any help would he greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Edit pdf is acting odd for me. I shift a page from one spot to another, press done… the. PDF reopens and changes did not stick. Happens on both local and cloud files, even after restart.

incredible how they’re pushing out the m3 iPad Pro this year , and this simple issue that’s so important is still not fixed on the latest iPadOS.
Wonder Apple staff understand the problem and trying to solve the issue. Have not seen any positive response from them yet.
Has anyone had any luck with the fix for this? I am on version 17.2 and this still happens! Very frustrating
