iOS dropping network connect with SAML/GlobalProtect

The GlobalProtect App, when set to use the native web browser (Safari), results in a "network connection lost" every time we attempt to authenticate using SAML. The gateway correctly sends to redirect, and the redirect dies before the user can authenticate against the IdP. Is this a symptom of the Apple Network Framework interfering with the traffic before the VPN client can authenticate?

iPhone 15 in flight wifi Issues I had issues connecting to the Delta Inflight WiFi with my iPhone 15 Pro on a recent trip. 3 of 4 flights I couldn’t connect when it appeared others on the plane were working just fine. I tried everything. I had a clue from a previous question on the subject. if you go into the Settings -> General -> VPN and Device Management, under Restrictions and Proxies, I had Guardio Browsing Protection configured for DNS. I use Guardio to keep browsing and email clean, which affects the connection to Delta WiFi. Just change the DNS from Guardio Browsing Protection to Automatic and the WiFi connection worked fine following the instructions provided by Delta. Note that I did turn off the Browsing Protection inside the Guardio app but that didn’t do the trick. I needed to turn it off in Settings as well. After my flight, I turned the Browsing Protection inside Guardio back on and it told me to update settings as well. Also, if you don’t use Guardio and are having the same issue, see the previous question on the subject. I couldn’t update that question because the question was an old issue.

Public Wifi - Page to enter credentials is not loading Hi There, I am using a public wifi network as I am away from home. I had previously bought 30 days access which had its on credentials to capture before the final connection to the hotspot was made. I have now purchased a further 30 days access and that has come with new credentials. When I select the network it says it is connected etc but the page to input the new credentials will not load and I am unable to use the internet as it says I am not connected whenever I try to load a site. I have tried a variety of things so far: laptop off/on wifi off/on clear DNS use apple captive address - it just tells me I'm not online and doesn't seem to search out whether there is a captive requirement. rebooted in safe mode and repeated all of the above. I'd welcome any other suggestions people might have. I'm actually not a computer expert but I can usually figure things out/ follow instructions so I'd be really grateful if responses were kept simple. FYI - I'm having exactly the same issue with my iPhone.

Apple iCloud Private Relay disconnects when VPN is launched When I use my iPhone Hotspot to connect my MBA M2 to the internet, I have private relay turned on on both devices. Once I turn on a VPN (E.g., ExpressVPN or Norton 360 VPN) on my MBA, I receive a message that private relay has been turned off because it is incompatible with the [installed software]. I am running the latest MacOS 13.5 Ventura on my MBA M2 and the latest iOS 16.6 on my iPhone 14 Pro. Private relay is turned on on my iPhone and MBA. Any insights or recommendations would be most appreciated.

You will need to contact the developer of that app.

Interestingly enough, Palo Alto Networks' support site is currently down.
