Unable to add payment method in my app

You can download free apps, but you may need to have a valid payment method on file, even if the app you want to download is free. 

You can have a credit card / debit card on file and an Apple Account balance.

If you have set your Apple Account balance as your default payment method, your default payment method will be used first by Apple when you need to make a payment.

Free apps has also In-app pruchase.

Try to verify your payment information, you need to Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details -> https://appleid.apple.com                                                     

• On the Sidebar click Payment methods -> then tap Payments Methods and tap Manage payment method.

• If you want to change your card, you need to add first the new card, then remove the old card.

fyi: Not all credit & debit cards seem to work with App Store / iTunes Store, try a different one, or preferably a credit card.

If your card is not accepted as a paymenf method, you need to contact your bank.

If you can't remove a payment method

If you have subscriptions like iCloud+, have an unpaid balance, or you use purchase sharing, you must keep at least one payment method on file.

• Do you have a subscription? You can cancel iCloud+ and cancel other subscriptions from Apple. When your subscription period is over, remove your payment method.
• If you're in a Family Sharing group and you use purchase sharing, the family organizer must have a payment method on file. If you're the family organizer, turn off purchase sharing, then remove the payment method.
• If you have an unpaid balance, you might not be able to remove a payment method. Instead, change your payment method.
• If you still can't remove a payment method, contact Apple Support.

Never post your Apple ID credentials (such as Apple ID, billing address, phone number, etc.) on a public forum, that is asking for trouble.

Then follow these steps to subscribe

1. Open the Apple Music app on your Android device.
2. The first time you open the app, you'll see a "Welcome to Apple Music" message. If you don't see this message, tap Listen Now at the bottom of your screen. Already subscribe to Apple Music?
3. Tap the trial offer (one trial per person or family).
4. Choose an individual subscription, family subscription to share with up to six people, or student subscription.
5. If you have an Apple ID, tap Use Existing Apple ID and sign in. If you don’t have an Apple ID, tap Create New Apple ID, then follow the steps. If you're not sure if you have an Apple ID, we can help you find out.
6. 👉 Confirm your billing information and add a valid payment method.
7. Tap Join Apple Music.
