I have been missing my emojis since the last IOS update 17. I have gone into keyboards, deleted and reinstalled emoji keyboard, restarted the phone several times. Turned the keyboard settings off and on, restarting along the way. All of the fixes that I found don’t seem to be working. Anyone else have this problem or solution?
My emojis are missing also since the new update. I’m having to make all new avatars and it’s stuck on record. I don’t wanna record a message I just want the avatar/emoji. Anybody know how to get them back?

I’m getting fed up with upgrading and losing lots and not apparently gaining anything. I want my avatar emojis back!
Is there anyone else who absolutely hates the 17.1.1 iPhone update??? There’s so much that is now fubared on my phone. It’s infuriating!!!!
You tap the + sign next to the enter dialog box. Then you tap Stickers. You'll see some icons in the top row and you'll tap the icon with three faces. That's where all your memoji stickers are.
Thank you but this option does not exist in the updated English keyboard. Apple has removed ALL emoji/avatar characters and replaced them with "stickers" which is what appears in settings where you have pointed us to.
It is clear that Apple did away with a well adopted feature that people employed and enjoyed.
You seem to know a lot. I found that, but I am looking for the emoji’s with my avatar that don’t move and/or record. They used to be right next to the ‘normal’ emoji’s. Have you found where those went?
I won't be upgrading my other iPhone from ios16... apple have really messed up this time.
Me too it’s frustrating.
Makes me not want to update any more. I like options.

Tap Stickers
Look in the top row for the memoji triple face button and tap it.

Did you read past the first post to see where they are now? They shouldn't be gone at all. Just moved and you access them differently.
After I updated to 17.1 my avatar is gone. Now all I have is stickers. Where did they go?
