Blink security app - notification sound changed since IOS 17 update

What works great?

Having Siri announce Blink notifications if you have an iPhone.

Doesn't announce notifications only work with airpods or beats?

How do you make "announce notification" on iphone?

Mine is 15.8 and telling me iOS is up to date. Guess current Siri option is a no go for me. Is there any way to update Siri so "announce notification" can be seen/enabled?

Go to settings, sounds , change default alert sound

I agree 100%. This is so annoying and frustrating. The really bad thing is it should be simple to fix. Jeez!

I bought an Echo Show and it announces motion if the camera has two way speakers. I also have Siri announce it on my phone for those old camera which don’t have two way speakers Works for me.

I have tried over a DOZEN times to change sounds and haptics for my Blink Security camera- it USED to work- according to ALL BLINK INSTRUCTIONS it SHOULD work- now this is on YOU APPLE!!!!!
