Safari block pop up ads not working after iOS17

Before iOS17, I was using block pop up ads in Safari settings and it worked surprisingly well. But after the update, it doesn't seem to work anymore. Is there a fix to this?

Annoying Pop up adds in Safari I really want to use Safari, however I cannot stand all the annoying pop up ads. I have been told to download an Ad Blocking app, and that this would stop the annoying pop ups. There are no pop up ads when i use Firefox, because AD blocking is built in. I trust Apple software, I would rather not have to download, and trust some third party app. Hope Apple will include natively Ad blocking in future OS updates.

Can't use Purify adblocker on iPadOS 18.3.2 Can't use adblocker Purify on iPad with OS 18.3.2 with NYTimes. Receiving multiple ads on that website. Anyone use an adblocker that works on iPad using the Safari as browser.

Stop suggesting to go to settings etc. IT ISN’T WORKING!!! I understand how to do that and have done that yet the pop up problem continues.
