With previous updates, it was possible to choose which ‘additional apps’ are accessible on messages (at the bottom of the screen when typing a message). IOS 17 seems to automatically install the gifs app, and I don’t see how to disable it.
explicit content in the gifs search is not blurred or blocked in any way.
