Macbook Pro died mid turn on - only response is charging noise
I've had my MacBook Pro for about 3 years and I've had so many problems with it. I just got a new screen put in a couple days ago after the lcd display was damaged. After a couple months I was able to afford replacing that.
It worked great with zero problems for a few days and last night I closed it and put it in a drawer during the night. Today I opened it back up and tapped the track pad to turn it on. The touch bar turned on but flickered off quickly after. It seems like it completely died. There's no sound coming out of it, I've held the power button down for a while but nothing happens. I've tried so many things but nothings worked.
I even removed the back to see if the battery was swollen or anything but nothing. No fan spinning. No sounds. Nothing off looking.
The only response I'm getting that it's alive is that when I plug it in, it makes the charging sound.
Here's what I've tried:
I used a new cable and outlet, the charging sound happened again but nothing else.
I've tried going through a power cycle.
Resetting the SMC.
Resetting the PRAM/NVRAM.
All accessories are unplugged. (I just got a new external SSD yesterday and had to restart multiple times for it to work but eventually it did).
Many hard resets have been done.
I'd assume this is a blank display problem but the touch bar isn't responding either.
I'm out of my warranty and can't afford a whole new computer. Any ideas?
