iOS 17.0.1 causing iPhone issues

My screen has been glitching since the update & clicks itself sometimes. I don’t understand what is going on with my phone but it feels as if my screen is dying or whatever.

Just updated my iPhone 12 Pro Max to IOS 17.0.1 - now it cannot connect to the internet.

I can make and receive calls and texts but no FaceTime or internet.

I updated to the latest iOS also and my cellular data will not work anymore. I have no idea how to fix it. I had to take my SIM card out and put it into my old iPhone. This sucks!!

My iPhone 12 will not access email after iOS 17 upgrade. Keeps saying it can’t find server! Looks like another patch will soon issue !

berkan226,go to settings then to General then to software update and follow instructions to update it should offer the newest-17.0.3.

Since I installed iOS 17.0.2 my personal information has been wiped from my apps. For example, Instacart is now showing me in the USA(had to reinstall),Dominos Pizza app my addresses have been deleted, Google search via Safari no longer displays Canada as an option in the Tools tab. I have to re-allow my banking app to use face ID. Accuweather had to reset my ID, Shoppers Drug Mart the list goes on. It appears that my entertainment apps have not been affected (Prime, Disney, YouTube, Roku). Bottom line, personal information and location has been affected in most of my apps. I attempted to reset my location but nothing happened.

I hate the update. Messed up my WiFi connection, sharing location stinks, several apps won’t or have a hard time loading and can’t type without spell check interference.

These 17 updates have really been a nuisance. They have done nothing but create issues. Connecting to my car/ wifi connection, the screen does not react and work efficiently in the least bit and does what it wants or does nothing at all when I tap it or when I am typing, battery doesn’t charge correctly, spell check tries to underline and correct words that are correct, and the list goes on. Considering I work off my phone this is unacceptable and inexcusable. This is the first time ever I am beyond disappointed with Apple. I should not have to connect my phone to a computer to get it to work or have to troubleshoot after I receive an update from my phones manufacturer. Apple better get it together and fix this immediately.

It’s ridiculous. Plus I swim and exercise. Now I have to take an extra step to hit my water button. Sounds picky but sheesh, no improvement should ever include extra work aka steps.

may be my last iPhone and Apple Watch.

I have update each time ,now at17.03. I IPhone SE continues to randomly freeze up, or Ap freezes since I went to IOS 17. I went to an Apple technician who ran a diagnostic and said there was not problem with the hardware or the battery.

It seems like it is the new software.

I’m having similar challenges. Including posts being deleted. But I did get my watch to change faces. Hold the side button.

not sure about my iPhone 14 though. Randomly freezes, won’t keep apps loaded and battery runs down much faster. Any ideas on those ?

To change faces on your watch running watchOS 10, press and hold on the screen. You will then be able to swipe left or right and chose a different face.

so i have an SE, and i saw that apple did a(n) new update which was the ios17 update.So i updated it to get the ios17 and ever since i got it ive been having big issues and i mean big lately it logs me off apps,ends calls,feezes,glitches,and when i call the screen wont show its just white and i havent been liking it i thought it would be cool and all that but no its just been WORSE!

That is by no means a usual occurrence. I suspect that something else is going on besides the update.

You can re-download your apps.

OMG when I updated my iPhone 14 pro max to iOS 17 I literally LOST so MANY OF MY CONTACTS!!! That’s so very IMPORTANT TO ME!! My child school my boss number my job number, phone numbers are you SERIOUSLY important to me!! I’ve TRIED BASICALLY EVERYTHING I COULD TO RETRIEVE THEM BACK AND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS ISSUE!!!!! Why have us update to iOS 17 and it’s not doing what it’s suppose to do it’s making matters so bad!!!!
