iOS 17.0.1 causing iPhone issues

This is RIDICULOUS they HONESTLY TRULY NEED TO FIX ALL OF OUR ISSUES I NEED ALL MY CONTACTS BACK!!!!! Apple suppose to be so much way better than android!! I have Apple from Verizon so come on people get it together FIX ALL OUR ISSUES!!!! Our phone are very important in life our lives!!!!

My iPhone 12pro has been glitching since iOS 17.1. I’ll be in the middle of typing a message and it starts flipping to other apps and I have to go back to the original app I was typing in. It is driving me nuts. Not just once but almost every time I message someone in either imessenges, yahoo email or Facebook messenger. They need to put out a fix ASAP!

You cannot. 17.0.3 is no longer available. The only option you now have is 17.1.

the ios 17.1 update is horrible. Most of the songs on itunes are too quiet to hear now. I listen to music frequently at work and can no longer hear anything above the noise of the plant where I work. Why? Who asked for music to be so low we can't hear it?

If the button in the App Store says "Open", that means that the app is already installed on your device. Go to the App library (last page to the right). Tap in the search bar at the top of the page to access the alphabetical list of apps. Find the one you want to move to the home page. Press and hold on it. Select "Add to Home Screen".

I’ve discovered a new and annoying iOS 17.1.1 bug…

When I make a phone call, I can no longer end it. I finish talking, my iPhone screen is dark, so I try to tap it to bring up the phone screen, and nothing happens. I try pressing the Power button, or Volume buttons, and nothing happens.

In essence l cannot end the call at all. I have to hold the other person does so. Eventually, after about 8-10 seconds - presumably once the other person has disconnected - my iPhone will let me use it again!

This is so annoying and a MAJOR bug!

The more I read about all the iOS 17 problems e.g. notification issues, sound problems, tone changes that can’t be altered, apps missing on home screens, etc, etc, the worse I feel this update is! It’s a disaster zone!

First, you should update to the current version of iOS 17, 17.1.1.

Then, explain what happens when you try to change the location. Are you getting any error messages? If so, what do they say?

Yes, I have this, though it's usually only after I make an outgoing phone call. Once the call has finished, I can't end the call, or get the screen on. I have to wait until the person on the other end, ends the call, and only then, does my iPhone screen return!

That is correct. The Control Center access has been moved. You now access the exact same screen by tapping the side button. It's the oval button next to the Digital Crown. It's flat, almost flush with the bezel.

Also uses up all my charge which never happened before.

Un-pair and re-pair the watch.

The iPhone update 17.1 is the worst and a slap in the face to customers and shareholders. I’ll be cancelling my Apple TV as a result of your arrogance and buggering.

looking forward to this getting fixed or moving past IPhones to other providers.

This is insane that we have to go through so much trouble to try to get our phones back to working order after Apple forced us to update to this new terrible system. This is truly the worst update yet. I don't have time, patience or understanding of all these instructions to try to get my phone back to normal. I'm at a loss of what to do. I'm praying they'll release another update asap to fix the garbage update they just gave us.

Apple ios17 is terrible Apple is purposefully forcing updates on older devices which causes phone to crash and bugs like notifications. Apple developer know this but introduce the bug any way again Apple wants you to buys new hardware

I ran iOS 17 on an iPhone 11 Pro with zero issue.

New update totally blows! I can’t seem to get my curser to work in messages if the message is longer than the screen. Also sending notes has all these unnecessary new features. I really don’t understand why they keep messing with the things that actually work. And honestly makes me wish I had gotten a different phone now. It’s exhausting and I really don’t have the time to research all the work arounds. I turned off my automatic update which I think gets turned on when you do decide to update. I might try to figure out how to go back to the old operating system but again who has the time?
