iOS 17.0.1 causing iPhone issues

12/7/23 after update, incoming calls, dead, can’t hear or be heard til push speaker. Now incoming calls not ringing, going to voicemail for caller but not recording or showing voicemail. Help! I never want to update after this. I don’t even know how to use phone after update

I’ve had nothing but issues with 17.1.2. They need a fix asap. I had purchased the iPhone 14 Pro Max when it came out and was just fine until the update. I was just outside of the warranty and was told It was the hardware and not the software. So I traded in my phone early and got the 15 pro max. $500 later. Well both phones glitch when getting notifications. I’ll get multiple notifications throughout the day ones that I’ve already checked. If someone texts me that isn’t in my texts to begin with, it comes up with just the number even though they’re saved in the contacts. I know this seems minor but it’s frustrating that we pay thousands for phones now and I’ve been loyal to apply for 10+ years. Please for the love of god send out an update to fix this. Please.

I suggest you start your own thread rather than append your issue to a thread that hasn't been active in almost two months. Also, if you just updated to iOS 17, you're not running iOS 17.0.1, so, that makes this tread even less appropriate for your issue.

Alright Mr Grumpy. I’m not a techy so I don’t visit these forums normally. Just trying to find some help for my issue and it seems lots of others are having issues too. If we’re being specific I’m actually on 17.3. Thanks for your comments though….. 👀

The current version of iOS is 17.4.1. There have been numerous bug fixes and security updates since iOS 17.0.1. I recommend you update.

Same phone with exact same issues after update.

I am very mad about the iOS 17 update because it deleted all of my apps. This is not ok. I want my apps back right now. I have been logged out of all of my apps and I am not very happy about it.

Just updated to IOS17. Now have no phone or text capabilities, nor emails.

What can I do?

Apple! Create a fix for the new terrible update! My phone freezes! Screen turns black & the spinning wheel of death appears!
